Diggers

He loves manly trucks lately. Diggers, dump trucks, rolling types construction vehicles. I'm thankful that the books have names of these things because I don't know all the specific names of each. They're all big diggers to me :)

We have some construction going on a few streets away and we often walk up there and watch the workmen and diggers doing their thing. I'm sure the men love an audience.

As previously mentioned, Liam loves wearing his Pj's all day long, he tries on about 3 or 4 pairs a day. I finally gave up this afternoon and let him wear them to the grocery store, I couldn't bear another fight about it. On our way to the store he says "I'm show the workmen my pj's".

Here he is on a day where we came too late and the diggers were asleep.

Gymnast

I take Liam to the "Little Gym" and he absolutely loves it! He loves his teacher and loves just doing all the gym activities. He is actually quite a little gymnast! This was his last day and they gave them a ribbon and they all had to go up to the podium and get it. The Olympian music was playing while they walked up. Liam's face just tells it all, he is so proud of himself, I love him.

member me

That's what Liam calls the game "Memory". And how he frequently beats B and I in memory I'm not quite sure. He really does have a great memory. The other day we went into Anthropologie, which we have only been in one other time and he remembered who he was with (Nana) and started telling me all about it. Reminds me to be careful where I take him and what I say to him because he remembers it all.

Here he is in all his sweetness.

Mommy leave!!

Grandma and Aunt Gilly came for a visit this weekend. I got a taste of  what it will be like when he no longer thinks I am cool, I'm not sure when that stage comes, maybe at 2?? I was frequently told to leave the room and that just Grandma was invited. Oh well, I enjoyed the break of not having to be the one to always do playing.

He has begun to pretend play a lot and I love it. It is fun to see his imagination. The other day there was a bunny in the kitchen....

Here is is the sass - I think it is payback ( peanut butter and grape anyone??)

Long overdue

It has been a while since a post. I seem to be lacking in motivation to edit these millions of pictures. Christmas was wonderful despite everyone having a stomach bug. We got to spend lots of time with family and a few friends. My mom and dad took good care of us and we
were able to relax and even have a night alone without a toddler in tow. We saw the musical, "The sound of Music" and stayed in a swanky hotel. Can we do it again please?

Florida was also a treat!! The weather was beautiful and Liam loved being with his grandparents and 8 cousins!!

I don't usually make New Year's resolutions because I know that I won't keep them and I wouldn't say that this one is a resolution, more just something I really want to start doing regularly. I really want to print pictures that I take. I never print them except for others and it bothers me to no end. I'm going to set up an account and start printing them online. Please help me do this. Ask me if I have printed any.

Here are some pictures from Christmas beginning with the happy Canadian in the snow.
