Aren't I cute?

Look at this little guy....isn't he sweet??

Not next weekend, but the one after, we will be home!! We were talking about Swiss Chalet and Mexx this morning. Just some things we miss... 

Peaceful

This image makes me think peaceful. It just looks serene, don't you think?? 

I love that his crazy matted bed hair is in full force too. I know it looks bad, but it will remind me in years to come. 

Happy thanksgiving to all your Americans. We are going over to our neighbours this afternoon for Turkey. We'll be home for Christmas in just 2 weeks now!! Yay! Pray for B as he is studying in the next couple of weeks, especially for Hebrew. 

Crusty Nose

Poor boy has been sick and getting some new molars (I think) which makes for a very runny nose. He loved being in the stroller today (the coldest day yet) which is strange because Liam hasn't like strollers one day in his life before today.

I escaped after dinner tonight to the mall and left the boys to themselves. It was so nice to be able to wander and look at things at my own pace. 

Curious

Relentless

Some days feel like they may never end. Whining, crying, falling down and just being 2 is sometimes enough to make this mama want to run and hide. I know I am not alone in this (at least I hope).  Days can be long and very lonely as a mom. Previous to being a mom, I never really realized how challenging and never ending this task of a mother is (and I only have one). I doubt it ever ends because once they lay that baby on your chest, your heart will never be the same again - there is always another person entwined.  Today was one of those days when I just longed to be alone, to read, think, pray, or read more about photography - just about anything alone would have been a luxury. I'm glad bedtime has come and the house is quiet. Tomorrow is a new day.

I had another photo assignment to do this week. I have some to share but must figure out how to edit them as they are a bit tricky. This is just one that I opened that I liked, but it is also kind of freaky in some way too. Do you think?? 

We have both parents coming this weekend, very much looking forward to it!!!

Pumpkin

Here is our boy on Halloween! Mom, these are for you! He loved Halloween and went right in to people's house and took some candy. He very cutely said thank you too :)

And G.B. for the extra hour....Liam did NOT sleep of course. He was up bright and early asking to watch his "potty movie" as usual. That movie might just put me over the edge.

How cute is 2?

These are from this week's photography assignment that I did shooting in different locations around the house. Liam was quite cooperative and we had so much fun being silly together and finding fun new locations. I'm learning a ton through this course and it is really fun too. I'm so thankful to be taking it. 

I'm trying to think of some things to share with you about our life these days, but I'm not sure how to share right at this moment. Ask away and I would be happy to answer, but for now, I'm off to bed. the time change always exhausts me!
