That is what Liam calls himself. It makes me laugh. Last week was a tough one for Liam, he stepped on a bee and got his first bee sting, and he got a black eye from falling on the corner of the table. Poor little one....

I took this pictures of Liam tonight when B was working and I tried out some black and white. I really like them. Isn't he just so lovely?

This boy loves to bath in the kitchen sink lately. Look how happy he is in this first one. I think it is close to impossible to not smile when he gives me this face.

Hot Days

We had one week here that was unbearably hot and humid. You had to be in some type of water or else you felt like you were melting. This day in the picture Brian had out the pool, slip n slide and the hose for Liam and the neighbour, Alex. That same day, all three of us were in the kiddie pool.

Liam is such a joy to us. He is such a lovely little person and is learning new words rapidly these days, although I seem to be the only one who understands these new words. I love this stage where he isn't a baby anymore but still isn't a total boy yet. Some of his recent loves are balloons, trucks or any sort of "digger", the park, dogs, babies, gardening with me - he is actually up for just about anything you suggest. I love having him with me to do errands. I truly am blessed and thankful for him.

So....we had some friends visit with their 2 kids and I was able to take some pictures of their new baby. It was so exciting for me because I had never been able to take photos of a baby and this little guy was so content and just happy to be wherever I put him. So here's one that my sister in law processed for me, I am still trying to figure out photoshop, it's so overwhelming. I'll be back to post some pics of Liam soon, I promise!

I have been a bit slack on the blogging this week, but that's because we had some friends visiting. We had so much fun together and Liam keeps asking where they have gone. We went to Ocean City one day so lots of these pics are from the beach.

Liam must have forgotten what the beach was like and when he saw the water he couldn't believe how much water there was. He kept saying "wawa" and then just stretching his hand out everywhere in amazment. God's creation is amazing, even to one year olds.

So, thanks to my brother in law, I have a new Mac with photoshop :) . I have so much to learn it makes me feel sick, but I have to start somewhere. So, if anyone would like me to do a free photo session with their kiddies I would be so happy to do it.
