Him

And me. Pretty much always together.

When he is big and drives a car (rather than a trike) and it's not just me and him all the time anymore, I will remember this bike that he drove down the sidewalk so fast almost every day and sometimes fell off and cried and needed a kiss. This picture will always be special because in some way it encompasses last year and how hard it was for us to live here and go to school and all the days that I followed him down the street. He was a comfort to me.

I really don't want to just make the days pass and take this time for granted, I want to listen to those old ladies in grocery stores and truly enjoy him and live like I know this time will be gone so quickly and then I will want it back.

  3. Your words and thoughts are so beautiful and touching Dana, and the picture captures the moment.
Am I like one of those old ladies in grocery stores.....how old are they?

What a treasure you have each day. If you were not in the place of struggle, lonliness, hardship, you likely also would not appreciate Liam as much as you do.....

I am so proud of you Dana.....you are the daughter that mothers dream to have.

    Love you so much.
