I'm not a big fan of making grand promises and goals, and then not keeping them. That's why in the past I haven't made New Years resolutions, they just make me discouraged. All through the year I want to eat healthier, work out more, exercise grace and forgiveness better, read more, post more photos, ask more questions etc etc. Not just on January 1st or even the month of January.
I'm glad that these things are not what saves me. I would fail.
I'd love to be able to do a photo a day challenge. Maybe I will attempt that, but I can't promise. I'm already 5 days late :) I'd also like to cook more and photograph my meals. I really do love cooking, I whipped up a vegetarian lasagna this morning while Liam was at nursery school. It was a ton of work, but I enjoyed it.
Here are some more photos from our holiday. It really was lovely and I always take it for granted when I am there, and then come home and wish I had truly enjoyed it this year.
In the words of my boy: "Prepare Yourself", there are quite a lot of photos to be shared.
To begin, a Christmas photo which I should have shared a month ago. Followed by cookie baking before our travels.
Liam's favorite part of Christmas with my family was Kim's dog. He told me this yesterday.
Florida begins
Does anyone else take pictures of their child crying?
I look forward to what this year will bring. It's always somewhat exciting to imagine what the year will hold. Surely there will be some difficult stuff but also lots of good.
