The Scooch

Finally!!! This has taken forever to upload!

For those of you who have never seen the way Liam gets around, here is a little sample. My brother apparently crawled exactly the same way. I just can't seem to capture him when he is going really fast. But anyways, here he is, he looks like a little arrangatang. It will be a bit sad when he starts walking because this is so original and funny.

Snacks

We're back in Philly now! It was nice to be home and get to spend time with friends and family, but it is also nice to be back with Brian. I think he really missed us!
Liam sure does look big in these pics. He is sitting on the dishwasher in the first one, then eating his two favorite snacks - cinnamon sugar pita chips and rasberries.

Crazy!!

Sleeping

Just saw this one and thought it was sweet.

Beach Baby

So maybe the last post wasn't that funny...

We went to Atlantic City this weekend, and no we didn't go to gamble. We went so that we could go to the Rainforest Cafe for Liam and walk on the beach. Liam absolutely loved the beach!! I don't think I have ever seen him so happy. He laughed the entire time we were there. I think he would have gone right in the cold ocean if we had let him. He also liked the Rainforest Cafe - he doesn't seem to have any fear of stuff like that yet, he is just very interested in everything. Unfortunately, the battery on my camera died when we were there so I didn't get too many pictures.

So, here are some pics from our weekend, I have been trying to download a video for about 15 minutes, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'll have to do it later.

We will be home this weekend for a wedding and I am staying for the whole week with Liam. Looking forward to seeing all you faithful readers! Thanks for reading.

So thankful...

'This week we had some friends in New Zealand lose their new baby. His name was Ethan and he was 18 days old when he passed away. He had a diaphragm hernia (hope I got that right). They have been blogging each day and sharing their lives with everyone who has been reading. I have been so moved by their faith in God and their love for their sweet boy. The way they have chosen to react to this situation has been a reminder of God's goodness and faithfulness. How can you say "God is great" when you have lost your child? Only because you know what he has done for you and you don't live for this world. Thank you Marcus and Toni for sharing your lives and for encouraging me. I have found myself more thankful for my own son this week because of your example. Here are some pictures of Liam from this week.
Yep, no socks in the cold.
Funny new face that he does.

"Tada! Look at me in the clean laundry!"

Liam loves V8!! He obviously takes after his grandpa!

Takes after his dad too, always looking for something in the fridge....

He loves my toothbrush.

Daddy's home!!!

Just thought I would share Liam's excitement when Brian gets home at the end of the day. I always want him to know how happy I am to see his daddy too!!
(Notice the hair growth in the last pic on the side of his head, affectionately known as his wings)

Babes to Big Birthday Guy

How did this little pea become this big boy!? I love him so much and as sad as I am that he is now one, I am so happy and thankful for this person God has given to us. Liam has become such a joy - he has such a funny personality, he is so full of energy and life and laughs, he is quick to hand out kisses, he is so much fun and I wouldn't choose to spend my day doing anything else. What a priviledge to be his mama.
Happy Birthday Liam, we love you!!

Lots of 1st Birthday Pics

My parents came for Liam's first birthday!! It was lots of fun, Liam loved having them and even remembered them!! He was very sad to see them leave and cried as they pulled away. Thankfully, my parents bought us a great new camera, so the blog will continue! Here are lots of pics from his birthday, wish you could have been there to celebrate with us! I'm still wondering how my little newborn is one tomorrow though...

The birthday boy looking cool...

Loving his new tent!!

I think I will just squeeze this as hard as I can.

My new "ba" or bus...

He loves his Nana

Checkin' out my new ride. Liam is obsessed with his new car. He absolutley loves it! I had to hide it from him today so that we could walk out of the house without him screaming to go in it! Great gift Nana and Grandpa!!
