Liam either has me laughing or on the verge of tears lately. I always heard of terrible twos but it is a different thing to experience them firsthand. Two also lends itself to some very hilarious one liners as well. Thought I would share a few recent ones with you.

While changing the diaper: "Maybe when Curious gets bigger he can change my poo"

After asking me about 2001 questions and me mumbling that I don't know, he responds with: "Give me an answer mommy"

Liam falls apart crying about some minor thing he asks: "why I cry or why I say no?" 

or when asked a question like do you want milk or water: " what's liam going to say?" (in a singsong voice)

Lately he has been telling me constantly "Mommy you look so pretty" or "Mommy you look handsome". He really is sweet and manages to say it when I am feeling at my worst. We keep telling him that only boys look handsome though.

I am taking another online photography course by a different girl. Its focus is on natural light. I know I am going to learn a lot and by the looks of it, it is going to be very challenging. I really love taking these courses because it helps me to think about something other than mommy stuff. I have learned that this really is important for me. When I first got pregnant my brother said "Finally, you've wanted to be a mom for 25 years!!", which was pretty accurate, and I do adore being a mama, but I now know that I need a break to think on other things- it is essential. Photography allows me to be anywhere and look at the surrounding more creatively. Maybe that's why every other mom is a "photographer". Anyways, I'm still thankful for this little hobby.

Easter

We have been home in Canada for the week. Liam again got sick - I think he only gets sick at my parents house. This year he really loved searching for easter eggs, but the only problem is I am the one eating them....

In the field

My friend Laurel and I go for walks in this beautiful park! It is my new favorite thing to do. I love it and so does Liam and his little friend Sammy. I think Curious enjoys the fresh air too :)

The weather is getting so nice here and I am just so thankful that spring is here. This winter has seemed so long.
