Tidbits

A very pink party for our little tiny girl! 

My parents came, my brother was here on business - perfect timing! We had friends, very yummy Thai food made by a very sweet friend, and lots of pink. 

I'm so very tired tonight. We have had a long week with a sick baby finished off with a very bad ankle sprain for our little man that put us in the ER Saturday afternoon!  But, I wanted to blog the little things about the day so that one day I will remember what it all looked like. It was perfect. The only thing missing was the rest of our family. It's always sad on birthdays like these to live far away.

My Mom and I made cake pops. I had always wanted to try and so we did. They were so yummy and so pretty!

What we've learned about Isla in the past year:

She loves food.

She laughs easily.

She loves her Mama.

She never sits still. 

She loves babies.

She has pretty eyes. 

She adores her Daddy and Liam. 

She doesn't sleep much.

She's highly skilled with her jack in the box.

She loves music.

She loves to splash in the toilet. 

She doesn't cry much. 

She prefers to stand in the bath.

She loves to play outside. 

She enjoys roaring. 

She likes to sleep next to her Mama.

 She loves her brother and he loves her.

What we didn't know is that our love would expand. I'm not sure how we ever did life without Isla. She is the best little addition to our family. She has brought us more joy than we could have ever imagined.
I love having 2 kids.
Happy 1st birthday baby girl. We love you more than we ever thought possible. Now lets party!
